Adult Ministries - Your personal path to discover and develop a more deep and meaningful relationship with Christ.

Living Fire Program
The most important step toward developing your relationship with Jesus Christ is the Living Fire program. It is a process to discover who God is, who you are, and what God desires to do through your life. This journey is intended for those who desire to take another step of obedience in their commitment and service as a disciple of Jesus Christ. So if you are at a point of wanting to explore your relationship with God on a deeper level the benefits awaiting you are simply...life-changing.

Kerygma
Our midweek program for adults runs September through March on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:15 p.m. Kerygma is an in-depth scriptural study.

Discovery Series
This is a class for the new Christian with little knowledge of the faith. It covers the basics of Christianity in a small group format.

Small Groups
First Church has over 300 adults involved in approximately 30 small groups. Some groups meet weekly, while others meet bi-monthly or monthly to care for one another and discuss a variety of topics.

Sunday Opportunites
Sunday mornings (9:00-9:45 a.m.) offer a variety of classes for you to choose from:

Connections: A class for those interested in knowing more about our church and becoming members. Offered as often as needed, this opportunity gives facts as to what our church believes and what is expected from congregation members.

Sunday School:
“Current Events with a Biblical Perspective” is a current events Sunday School class that links the latest headlines to scripture. This is an informal, discussion-based class.
Book Discussion Class: participants read a chapter or section of a book during the week and discuss it in this class.

Gro-N-Glo
Gro-N-Glo is a group of ladies that meets in the morning on the fourth Wednesday of the month (April through December). They study a variety of Bible-based subjects, have a time of prayer, and collect money for a variety of projects. All ages are welcome.

Morrell Circle
Morrell Circle is a women's Bible study group that meets once a month during the school year--every second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. They assist with the November food drive "love boxes" that the church gives out. They use a study guide, taking turns leading the lesson and bringing a snack. New members welcome.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry exists to honor and love God through encouraging, equipping, and inviting our people to pray. They meet weekly to pray for our church and any needs presented to their group.
